About us

We are Mike and Peter and we would love to welcome you to our new Carcassonne Bed and Breakfast.

We have lived and worked in Carcassonne since 2014 when we opened the ‘original’ Carcassonne Bed and Breakfast. The venture proved to be very successful, receiving the Trip Advisor Travellers' Choice ‘Best of the Best’ award (given to the top 25 bed and breakfast establishments in France based on customer reviews) for five consecutive years. In 2019 we were honoured to be rated the number one bed and breakfast in France. We hope to continue this success with ‘Carcassonne Bed and Breakfast du Palais’.

In our time in Carcassonne we have built up a good local knowledge which we are always happy to share with our guests and our aim is always to give our guests the very best experience with lots of information prior to and at check in. We always give our guests privacy to enjoy their own space and surroundings but are of course around to offer any assistance you might need during your stay.
